There are plenty of pills out there that supposedly calm or dilute
depression, and there's plenty of therapists and PhD's with couches and
chaise lounges for your venting pleasure. But you could save yourself a
lot of time and money and simply go see Seymore Saves the World. If
anyone left the Great Northern Brewing Company after the Seymore show
without a smile or at least a feel good tune replaying itself in their
head, then they truly need clinical help. For the chemically balanced,
however, SSTW literally rocked the night with their infectious
keyboard-driven pop. The Minneapolis trio ran through an upbeat set,
including crowd favorites 'Love Song' and 'Summer 2005.' The sun was so
inspired that it actually thought about rising again at the end of the
set, but decided against it at the last second.
