Bozeman’s Finest

So this guy Jason helped me move some furniture into our place in Bozeman the other day. Apparently he played in a band called Grandaddy, that meant something to someone. I’m pretty sure I’m a someone. We talked about living in Montana, music, drinking, and exercise. He loves exercise just about as much as I love drinking. We both love Montana. I think he likes drinking too. Angel Eyes. Anyway, we decided to do a trade of services – a little I’ll show you mine if you show me yours. We spent the first week tracking drums for his new record, as well as tracking vocals and synths for mine. We also played some mean amateur tennis. Don’t worry, we didn’t lose any balls.

New York, Re-Revisited

We wanted to make a sentimental video for ourselves documenting our time at CMJ in NYC, because we just had so much fun. Leave it to Ian to pull out the old school camera to capture the hustle and bustle of the city, and Keith and Greg's famed debate on gun control. No, we weren't laughing - it was serious. It feels a lot like a home video from before any of us were born. Kind of like the one that your grandparents showed you of their vacation to Mt Rushmore in 1952, complete with the perfect soundtrack, a la Erick Messler. Enjoy!
