Get Him Eat Him

Newport, Rhode Island's Get Him Eat Him were on tour in support of "Arms Down," their second release on Absolutely Kosher, and they only had one day off in between their Salt Lake City and Calgary shows. We knew we wouldn't have a lot of time but we'd try our best to make it into one hell of a layover. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to do both a studio session and a live show, so we all decided to stick to the studio. It also happened to be the 4th of July, so we treated the band to a proper Montana-style BBQ of venison, elk and moose burgers. Plenty of things exploded and nobody lost any fingers, so we headed up to the studio to pull an all-nighter. The end result was the previously unreleased song "Utility."
